Thirty years age, I finally got up the courage to ask Pat for a date. I thought I was going to die. She was 40, recently divorsed and beautiful. I was only 25 and in college. I thought she was going to reject me, but I just had to let her know how I felt about her. To my surprise, she was very flattered, and wanted to see me. I was living in Buffalo, and she was in New York. We talked on the phone for hours and when the semester was over we went out on a date. She insisted on driving, and we went out dancing to big band music. I was the youngest guy there, but to my surprise, nobody said anything about me being with an older woman. On the way home, she pulled into an isolated place by the beach. We talked for an hour, and I finally got the courage to kiss her. Well, that was it. We kissed for hours and fogged up the windows while listening to her music. I loved the generational difference. We had a beautiful relationship for 5 years and than she had to move to Texas, and I couldn't go with her. I'll never forget her and still think about her. Well suffice it to say, I've been hooked on older women ever since.

I like older women because you don't have to stress, they know what you want, the enjoyment and stuff, I am not after money. I just need the companionship. If it's not working out with women my age, then I try elsewhere.

Micason, Why a Taboo? As long as there is no-one under age, and not Emotionaly Mature enough. Why a Taboo. Who decides what anyones choices should be? Most of the mature woman on here look alot younger anyway. and I could see 30 40 year difference may make things a little difficult, as you tend not to have the same interests. But if you have things in common and have beautiful chemistry. and you are not hurting anyone else. and you are both Happy.....then it works. Love is Love no matter what. We are all meant to have joy in our lives. I think the people that critisise can't be getting any Joy at all, they are too busy poking their nose into others joy to enjoy themselves.

The sexy part of a woman, for me at least, is between the ears. I think most people get more comfortable with who they are as they get older an dmore accepting. Older women are more caring, mature, and open-minded on life then younger women in my opinion. I mean, i know there's exceptions to every case, but most of the women my age that i've met are all into someone who has alot of money, or they just want to go clubbin' and not find a serious relationship.

That being said,my idea of an older woman is someone over 30. Certainly I would not date anyone who is younger than 20. And any woman who is not of 'legal' age I would shy away from like a plague.

Heck - I am an "older" man, and my preference is definitely older women. I don't want to feel like I am dating one of my daughter's friends, or be a 'notch' on some girl's score sheet.
